Classified as a national Grade III monument with a history of more than 200 years, the Zhushan Lianxing Temple is a center of faith for local residents. In addition to worshipping Mazu, the temple is home to a 300-year-old soft-bodied, black-faced Mazu, which is a rare sight in Taiwan. In addition to the deity, Lianxing Temple is filled with antiquities, from plaques and stone tablets to statues of the deity, all of which are rare and precious, and even the carvings and paintings of the building itself are of exquisite craftsmanship and have great historical and artistic value.
