The powerful earthquake of September 21st caused a large amount of earth and rocks to collapse in Jiufen Ershan, forming two adjacent “weirs” and creating large craters on the surface, which were known as “seismic sites” at the time.

The earthquake remnants have been preserved and an earthquake memorial park has been established as a living earthquake teaching material for the public to visit. One of the houses that collapsed at the time is a house where you can feel a slight dizziness when you walk inside, making you feel like you are experiencing the power of nature.
