Nuomi Bridge Agriculture Leisure Area
The Nuomi Bridge was built in the 29th year of the Republic of China when Japanese ruled Taiwan. They were built to actively participate in the Pacific Ocean war, accelerate the expropriation of Taiwanese materials, and transport the pine and cypresses in the Atayal tribe mountainous area in Renai Township. In 1992, it was approved and renamed ” Nuomi Bridge Agriculture Leisure Area” by the Council of Agriculture.

Checheng Leisure Agriculture Area
The old railway infrastructures that were built in the early times of Taiwan, could still be seen in Checheng. Here was once the biggest lumber production location in Taiwan, and the railway were built to transport those expensive wooden materials to Japan. Regardless of the complex history between Taiwan and Japan, Checheng is still one of the few places that have the nostalgia feeling in Taiwan.

Plum (Mei in Chinese) is the most prominent products in this area, and that is why it is called “Mei” Leisure Agriculture Area. Ziqiang Aiguo Leisure Agriculture Area
Ziqiang Aiguo Leisure Agriculture Area is almost 2,000 hectares large. It covers a vast area of forests including the famous Wusonglun Forest, as well as multiple creeks. Through creeks such as Pinglai Creek, Thorn Green Forest Creek and Chenyoulan Creek, the area is nurtured with rich ecological resources, providing tourists with all kinds of scenery, fruit picking events, and forest traveling activities.

Jiji Leisure Agriculture Area
Jiji Leisure Agriculture Area mainly produces bananas, glutinous rice, lychees and dragon fruit, as well as oranges, guava, grapes, ferns, roses, etc. The area is small, but populated with lots of famous attractions, such as Jiji Railway Station.
Lugu Township
Little BanTian Leisure Agriculture Area
There are two industries in the Small bantian Leisure Agriculture Area that are the largest in the country, the first is “tea seedlings”, with an annual output of about 10 million units, the second is “Ginkgo afforestation”, the country’s largest ginkgo forest with nearly nearly 100 of lands cover with Ginkgo trees. This area is also rich in scenic spots such as Dexing Waterfall, Bantian Bridge, and, Mengzong Bamboo Forest.

Longan Forest Leisure Agriculture Area
During Qing Dynasty, early farmers planted lots of longan in this area, and it has since became the largest Longan production place in Nantou, hence the name ” Logan Forest “.
