The trail is built along the crystal-clear Chang Yuan Canal. The trail is gentle and easy to walk, and the scenery is green and shaded by the forest, accompanied by the gurgling water. Walk along the eco-trail and pass through the bamboo forest full of Mengzong bamboos to reach the ancient battlefield of Lin Shuangwen. When you walk up the steps and look back, you can see the bamboo forest swaying in the wind, and you can occasionally see blue-bellied nymphs foraging for food. The ancient battlefield is decorated with a huge chess game to commemorate the biggest civil war in Taiwan’s history.
