The “Hanbi Trail” at Sun Moon Lake is a gently sloping path through the forest, with ginger flowers planted on both sides and standing trees. The 1.5-kilometer trail is paved with stone bricks. In addition to enjoying the beauty of the lake and the mountains, the trail is also a nostalgic experience. Along the way, the trail passes famous scenic spots such as Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Pavilion, Chiang Kai-shek Pier, Yule Pavilion and Xing Tan. In the early morning, the water surface of Chiang Kai-shek Pier and the sky merge into a single color, with the sky and water reflecting each other in azure, and the orange lanterns make you feel like you are in a movie-like scene. There is also a walkway to get closer to the lake, and a large area of turf brings a pleasant scent that makes you forget your worries.
