Fung Guo Honey Manor | Pure Zhongliao Longan Honey, Lychee Honey
Nestled in Zhongliao, Nantou, the father chose to settle in this mountain town blanketed in longan orchards. Two generations of beekeeping expertise have accumulated here, where the legacy of experience and the courage to innovate have unlocked opportunities for Fung Guo’s growth. “Local,” “Natural,” and “Sustainable” are the founding principles of Fung Guo. While the slogan sounds simple, upholding it is no easy feat. Issues like an aging agricultural population and environmental pollution have severely tested the once pristine honey-gathering environment. True to its founding spirit, Fung Guo launched the Citrus Hope Project, prioritizing land stewardship to mitigate environmental impacts on honey production. Embracing the estate’s uniqueness, it communicates its entrepreneurial ethos while safeguarding product quality. This transforms the essence of local dew, dawn light, and breezes into a brand with a distinctively “honeyed” character.

It was once the largest and oldest private kindergarten in Shuili Township. After 40 years, it has now transformed into “Fun Shili B&B” full of human touch. What remains unchanged is the original intention of warm service and the feeling of being at home. Fun Shili B&B is located in Shuili, Nantou, about 500 meters away from Shuili Railway Station and close to Shuili Creek, Erping Mountain, Sheyao, Shuiyun Bridge and Yushan National Park Management Office. Transformed from a kindergarten, it has parking space and a spacious atrium garden. The steel frame structure is earthquake-resistant to level 7 or above, making it safe and secure. The B&B provides local ecological tours, firefly viewing night tours, visits to secret waterfalls, as well as rich itineraries such as Sun Moon Lake, Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village, SUP, and paragliding, as well as a variety of DIY experiences to make the journey more memorable. The environment is quiet and comfortable, and you can enjoy the slow travel life in the warmest water.

Tea Master B&B
Surrounded by Zen-inspired tea gardens and gently swaying bamboo forests, this is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Lugu. The owner is both a tea farmer and bamboo shoot farmer, while the hostess operates the “Tian Mama” Half Sky Bistro, guided by Taiwan’s Ministry of Agriculture. Although the guesthouse and restaurant are independently managed, breakfast and dinner are provided by the restaurant.
The restaurant carefully selects local ingredients to create regional specialty dishes. Guests can enjoy smoked oolong tea chicken, seasonal mountain vegetables such as wild celery and Vietnamese spinach, as well as bamboo shoot delicacies for dinner. Breakfast features farm-fresh eggs from free-range chickens, bamboo shoot dishes, and locally produced tea.
The guesthouse uses tea leaf aromatherapy throughout its spaces, allowing the simple yet elegant rooms to carry a subtle tea fragrance. Public areas also feature displays of local agricultural products and potted plants, offering visitors a deeper connection to the local culture and lifestyle.
