The Luluna tribe in Xinyi Township, Nantou County is the largest Bunun tribe . The annual New Year’s Eve prayer meeting attracts believers and Bunun people from Xinyi Township to gather at the church, and the Luluna Church has long been an important tribal faith center in the Xinyi area of Nantou County. The most obvious landmark of the Catholic Church is the big bird guarding the angel below. Although the architecture of the Catholic Church is not as spectacular as that of other villages, a solemn atmosphere still permeates the area.
