The Lin‘s deer farm is the ancestor of deer farming in Nangang Village, Nantou Guoshen Township, which has the largest number of deer farmers in Taiwan. The deer farm still retains the old Hakka Sanheyuan with nearly 100 years of history – the Lin’s family house. It is said that in its heyday, there were hundreds of people eating here at the same time. Every March, the deer farm hosts a deer god festival, followed by the antler harvesting period, so take this opportunity to visit the farm and experience the traditional Hakka celebration and learn about the antler industry.
