Romantic Night Sakura: Illuminate Your Spring Fantasy The most anticipated event of the festival, “Taiwan’s First Night Sakura,” will be specially open this year, in sync with the Cherry Blossom Festival. Don’t miss the lighting ceremony every evening at 17:30. 300 free lanterns will be given away before the ceremony, inviting everyone to walk through the sakura forest with a lantern. Once the lights are on, it’s as if stepping into a springtime dream—this event, running from February 3 to March 2, will create the most romantic atmosphere for you! The lights illuminate the petals, turning the sakura forest into a fairy tale world, with every corner telling the magic of spring. Gather your friends and become the stars of the night sakura party!
During the night sakura event, the amusement park in the 9 Tribe Cultural Village will extend its hours until 19:00, allowing you to enjoy more fun! The Sun Moon Lake cable car will also extend its hours until 17:30. Don’t miss the chance to experience the seasonal lake sunset cable car view available only during this time!
Also, don’t forget the nightly closing performances—the Night Dance Festival and Fire Dance performances. Surprises Every Day: Spring’s Magic Unfolds Daily During the Cherry Blossom Festival, every day in the 9 Tribe Cultural Village is a picnic day filled with joy! Taiko drumming, YOSAKOI street dancing flash mobs, and indigenous songs by the lakeside will accompany your every step through the spring. There’s also a Japanese yukata experience that lets you travel through time and transform into an elegant woman of the East.
