Built in 1930, Jiji Train Station is not only a historic station, but also a well-known landmark on the Jiji branch line of the Taiwan Railway. The station was destroyed by the 921 earthquake, but after reconstruction, the Jiji Station retains its Japanese wooden appearance and is one of the rare old stations in Taiwan that still has the atmosphere of the Japanese era. Coming to Jiji Station is like walking through a time tunnel and experiencing the culture and history of the early railway, and is a must-see for many railway fans!
