The Qilin Lake was originally used as an impounding reservoir for agricultural irrigation, and because of its tranquil environment, green water and mountains, and brimming lake, it is known as one of the eight scenic spots in Nantou, and is very suitable for relaxation. From March to May every year, visitors come here to look for the “Daiduan Black Fireflies”, a beautiful sight that weaves through the trees and on the surface of the lake.
