The origin of the name of Ming Sune Temple is the combination of two old temples, Mingzhao Temple and Yosendang Temple. During the Japanese era, Mingzhao Temple was the “Japanese Pure Land Buddhism Center”, and was taken over by the master of Deoksan Temple from the Zhusan Township Office. The Yosendang Temple was originally a local vegetarian hall, but due to its age and lack of care, it was decided by the general faith meeting to invite two masters from Deoksan Temple to transfer, and it was decided that Mingzhao Temple would be merged with Yosendang Temple and rebuilt on the site of Yosendang Temple.
