Located in the geology of the three major volcanic mountains in Taiwan, the 99 Peaks Forest Trail is about 2.5 kilometers long. The trail is built along the prism of the 99 Peaks, with a wide view but a lot of ups and downs, making it quite difficult to walk. As you walk along the trail, you can occasionally see lively birds and small animals such as monkeys weaving in and out of the trees, adding to the fun of outdoor trekking. After reaching the highest point, you can see the southern edge of the Taichung Basin surrounded by mountains and the 99 Peaks Range, which stands out like a jade shoot.
