Nantou Winery & Distillery, located in Jyun Gong Village, Nantou City, is a winery operated by Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation. In the past, it mainly purchased fruits from all over Taiwan to make various wine, but now it has transformed into a professional whiskey winery. The Nantou Winery Fruit Wine Festival is held every March, featuring a school fair, product promotions and tastings, and performances, welcoming visitors from all over the country to join in the fun. Nantou Winery & Distillery also has the only oak barrel-shaped tasting room in Taiwan, which was opened in 1975 and a pioneer of tourist wineries. There are also many large fruit installations in the park, and the winery offers a variety of services, including tastings and tours of the underground cellars, as well as guided tours of whiskey making, so that people can learn more about the local drinking culture while having fun.
